It all started when my parents gave me my first camera at the age of 12. After years of doing a nine to five job, I decided in 2005 to attend a couple of evening classes in photography. Soon, what started out as a childhood interest turned into a hobby and ended up being my passion and I enrolled in the 2 year full time program at the National College of Photography.

Some photographers may favour specific types of photography over others. For me the choice is extremely difficult but I've always been drawn to people and have a natural curiosity about what makes them tick, which is why I love portraiture.

The most satisfying aspect of photography is the opportunity for creativity and self expression.... and to make a living doing what I love.
